When it comes to Alopecia or hair loss that is caused by inflammation, what you consume and what goes on inside your body matter more than what you put on your hair and scalp. But, that is not to say that what you do to care for your hair and scalp topically does not make a difference. In fact, some people can see big improvements in their hair loss and hair growth just by topical treatments alone, although this tends to work on hair loss caused by temporary stressors. If you are already taking all the steps to address the systemic inflammation, then adding the right topical care can be really helpful to move the hair growth process along.
