His marriage was failing, his health was deteriorating, and he had almost given up on life altogether before he finally entered rehab for the second time. This time it stuck.
Mike talks about getting sober and the root causes he believes were fueling his addiction. Childhood trauma, fear of vulnerability, and difficult family relationships were all part of Mike's journey.
In recovery, Mike found God, opened his heart to healing, renewed his marriage and now pays it forward. Mike is proud to be vocal and honest in the sober community and now finds much of his motivation comes from helping others.
