Join us for grand rounds this week where Dr. Aaron Delorme, a PGY-3 anesthesia resident training here in Saskatoon, Canada, presents on Ozempic and emerging perioperative aspiration risks. He is joined by Dr. Russell Lenferna, a PGY-5 anesthesia resident also completing his training at the University of Saskatchewan, who presents on perioperative ultrasound to assess for the presence of gastric contents.

Dr. Delorme is a third year anesthesia resident at the University of Saskatchewan. Originally from Alberta, he has a background in prehospital care and biochemistry and completed medical school at the University of Calgary. Outside of medicine, he focuses on spending time with family.
