Welcome to Episode 67 of Someone Had to Say It.

In this episode, Reasons You'll Stay: It's Time to Reassess Who Your 5 People Are, we're having an honest conversation around:

  • Level of privilege to tell people to pay to be in conversations or to pull up a seat to the table because this isn’t really accessible to a lot of people.
It’s important to know that as you invest in yourself, especially in the realm of coaching and self-development, the more you pay, in my opinion, you just start having different conversations, because a) there is more space to have deeper conversations *there’s more intimacy* - usually that is supercharged by the fact that there’s room for a relationship to develop as well. This is why I really value committing to a mentoring or coaching relationship (the length doesn’t matter within the context of this conversation), and also investing in self-development, because you’re exposed to a lot of different conversations.
