Net Positive with John Crist is a weekly comedy podcast. As per the title, it features comedian John Crist as the host. The title comes from Crist's life philosophy. It's also one of his favorite expressions. He can talk about a date that went okay, but she had a "weird toenail." Or he has a great family, except for an uncle who believes in conspiracy theories. But, as he insists, "on the net, it was a positive." He chooses to look on the bright side of life. Thus the theme of this show.
Crist is a standup comedian from Georgia. The Net Positive with John Crist host credits his childhood as influencing his career. His father was a pastor, his parents homeschooled him, and he has seven siblings. He says given all that, it was inevitable he would become a comedian. Crist's YouTube fans may know him for his "Every parent at Disney" and "Every guy at Home Depot" videos. He also wrote the popular book Delete That: (and Other Failed Attempts to Look Good Online). The comedy star got his start opening for stars like Jeff Foxworthy. With this podcast, he is finding a bigger audience.
