Petty Crimes

Petty Crimes is a comedic true crime podcast. Hosts Ceara O'Sullivan and Griff Stark-Ennis hear funny stories and decide how criminal or petty they are. Listeners write in with arguments or misunderstandings they've had with others. The hosts then investigate the story to decide whether something bad has happened. If not, they declare the crime "petty." Along the way, listeners hear comical stories of conflict with others. Some are public mishaps with strangers. Other stories are about issues in families or friendships. The show is a hilarious investigation of silly problems and strange disagreements.

Each episode of Petty Crimes begins with reading out a listener letter. The letter details the potential crime. Ceara and Griff give hilarious commentary to each listener's story. Then, they decide whether a crime happened. The stories include disputes with coworkers and disastrous dates. They also include disagreements with neighbors. Guests join the hosts on some episodes to share their own petty crimes. Their guests include comedian Erin Farrington and filmmaker David Farrier.

Ceara is a comedian and a staff writer for Saturday Night Live. Just For Laughs comedy festival named her a New Face for 2022. She is also a comedy content creator on TikTok. Her original sketches appear in E! News, Buzzfeed, ESPN, and First We Feast. In 2019, she directed and co-wrote Dumpster Fyre: the Fyre Festival Musical. The show had a sell-out run. Griff is an actor and model with a background in communications. Following a corporate career with Condé Nast and Boston Consulting Group, he moved to Los Angeles. Since then, he has spent over a decade working in the entertainment industry. He started the Petty Crimes podcast with Ceara in 2022.

The hosts release new episodes of Petty Crimes weekly. Episodes are approximately 40 minutes long.
