After his song 'Scared to Start' went viral on TikTok, it propelled him to a brand new audience and saw the release of his American Romance EP. He finds himself in Australia this month, playing dates nationwide, including a spot at Spin Off Festival in Adelaide. In today's episode, we talk to Michael about returning to folk songwriting, the inspiration behind 'Scared to Start,' and his journey into music.
