This major reset and I would feel so light coming out of it” (DMT Experience)“They call DMT the spirit molecule. It is connection to God and you are connected to your highest self”“If you can manage to keep your heart open in hell you will learn so much about yourself and evolve.  I learned to sit there with my heart open when I was thrown in a fire of hell”Episode Resources Mentioned(None)Guest Contact Info

[EP11] The Importance Of Mental Health And How We Can All Make Change When We Support Each Other | Friends of Felix
Austin Penrose & Mahlon Head have started a brand surrounding mental health initially called “Happy Dude” and through some entrepreneurial learnings have now had a name shift and called “Friends of Felix”. These two friends bonded in a time of need when going through some of their own personal experience with mental health challenges and through these adversities knew there must be others out there like them that could use the support. Starting with their t-shirt brand, their goal is to ignite conversations surrounding mental health, eventually expanding into speaking engagements and funding more support channels through this growth. This podcast is sure to inspire many through this great discussion.Episode Quotes“A big part of it is wanting to give men access to the health that they need” - Mahlon Head“Really making an impact through conversation. We can sell as many t-shirts as we want and donate but it doesn’t solve the problem. We want to bridge the gap and help people” - Austin Penrose“Anything to get my body moving has a positive impact on my mind” - Mahlon Head“Being by yourself is one of the hardest challenges humans have. It starts with learning to love ourselves. When you truly love yourself you can sit with yourself and your mind doesn’t go to a negative place”- Mike Prince“No one cares as much as you think. At the end of the day when we look back on things, no one cares. If you want to do something go for it, it shouldn’t be anyone else’s decision” - Austin Penrose“Every experience presents itself with an opportunity to learn” - Mahlon HeadEpisode Resources Mentioned(None)Guest Contact InfoWebsite - www.friendsoffelix.com Instagram - @friendsoffelixbrand

[EP10] Can You Find Abundance In All Aspects Of Your Life? (Relationship, Work, Kids, Etc) | Trevor Turnbull
Trevor Turnbull and Mike Prince (The Conscious Creator) have been neighbors for the last two years. In this episode they recap a lot of what they have learned in that time in their relationships with one another, with their spouses, kids and work-life. If you have seen the Aaron Rodgers & Aubrey Marcus podcast well this right here is the Canadian version. There’s tears, there’s laughter and there is deep insight about all areas of our lives with the underlying message of how we can be the Captain of our ship to guide our realities. Episode Quotes“I feel like I’ve got to a place now where I’ve chosen to be happy in all moments and more present than I ever have been. I’m still on the journey and constantly trying to be a better version of myself and trying to catch myself in what’s happening tomorrow instead of being present” - Trevor Turnbull“The idea of slowing down to speed up was just ethereal to me and I thought, that just makes no sense. You have to move if you want to create progress, which to the high achieving individual means just DO, DO, DO. But the more I slow down and I take the time to write in a journal and feeling into what it is you’re trying to create” - Trevor Turnbull“When I look at injuries in my life, yeah I was going REALLY fast at that point in my life and the universe was telling me to slow the F%$* down. And I didn’t listen, so within a year I was delivered another serious injury.” - Mike Prince“It had to start with a really deep, honest conversation with ourselves of; Is the life that we’re living right now and the way that we make money, making a living, is this it? When the answer was NO for both of us then the answer was obvious, we needed to start over again” - Trevor Turnbull“Who you surround yourself with is so critically important… When you talk to people that lift you up as oppose to those that find ways to complain and find the negative in everything. You can’t help but radiate that same energy” - Trevor Turnbull“Love breeds love and kids feel that trust, they pick-up on it and its energy and if you have that energy in the house they feel that, they feel comfortable” - Mike Prince“I think a really important mindset with marriage, if you commit to each other and you say to each other that we will never even say the word divorce. There’s a comfort and a confidence in that to know that we can go through $h!t but we’re in this together until the end” - Mike Prince“To actually create a life that works for you and you don’t work for, that takes intention and that takes a shift in the way that you show up” - Trevor TurnbullEpisode Resources MentionedUnlikely Destinations - The Lonely Planet Story The 4 Hour Work week - Tim Ferriss www.fourhourworkweek.com Guest Contact Infohttps://www.trevorturnbull.com/https://www.linkedin.com/in/trevorturnbull/?originalSubdomain=ca

EP8 Surf, Sun and Coffee Enemas!?!? The Journey Of Illness To Enlightenment - Jake Heilbrunn
Jake Heilbrunn is wise beyond his years. In this episode we talk about our personal journey’s/challenges with Lyme disease and the many lessons we have learned along the way (Including how to do a coffee enema, lol. Yes, it is what you think it is). How a chronic illness can really make you stop and look at the “why’s” and observe every part of it, eventually realizing the gifts even if they are hard to see at first. Jake brings a lightness to life even through the tough parts and is an inspiring individual. We discuss how when he went into his first year in college that he knew something just wasn’t right and he had to make a change which led to an adventure through south/central America and eventually to Jake giving talks about it all (TedX) and even writing a book. This is a heartfelt episode about two men at slightly different stages in life who were connected by a “dis-ease” and how others can learn from the wisdom this brought them. With a few laughs along the way! Episode Quotes“ I was doing all of these things that I loved and there was this part of me that was just screaming out for help” - Jake Heilbrunn“I find when I can actually access my emotions and cry or scream or whatever, the pain doesn’t go away but the suffering of lower emotions that are trapped in my system release and I feel lighter” - Jake Heilbrunn“The element of surrender or letting go has been hands down the hardest part for me” - Jake Heilbrunn“Getting to that place of true gratitude and acceptance is where the true healing happens” - Jake Heilbrunn“Smell the salt, smell the air, take in the birds flying around and feel my surroundings, look at the cliff, feel gratitude for the ocean, the elements. I find that connection does something to me on a soul level that is hard to put into words” -- Jake Heilbrunn“I remember this girl was  killed, a 20 year old student and I remember thinking, if that was me, I know that I’m going out knowing that I have lived a life that isn’t fulfilling” - Jake HeilbrunnEpisode Resources MentionedLouise Hayes - How to Heal Your LifeJake Heilbrunn - Off the beaten trailMichael Singer - The Surrender ExperimentGuest Contact InfoInstagram - @jakeheilbrunn FB - @jakeheilbrunn Website - www.jakeheilbrunn.com TedX - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crUusAyzPxo

[EP7] How You Can Actually Slow Down To Be More Productive | Mike Prince
In this solo-episode Mike Prince explores the concept of “Busy”. The pride some of us hold with filling our lives full of “things to do” and how it ultimately doesn’t serve us. If we truly want to create more space in our lives we must first start by assessing where we are currently spending our time and if it is as valuable as we think. Episode Quotes“It’s incredible, when we learn to slow down. What we can get achieved and accomplished” - Mike Prince“If you don’t truly assess where you’re putting your time then it’s not going to change and you are going to burn yourself out. If you’re not setting limits and hard lines to ask yourself, do I need to be checking my emails at 10pm at night, etc?” - Mike Prince“If you are not finding space in your life for yourself, than you are good to nobody, including yourself” - Mike Prince“You need to schedule that stuff in as any other meeting, it is a meeting with yourself, it should be the most important meeting on your calendar” - Mike Prince“Beyond all these roles that we play in life. We are human. We are all humans interacting and if you wake up in the morning and you don’t have energy and you’re lacking these things because you’re not giving yourself the required self love you will not able to perform in any of these roles” - Mike PrinceEpisode Resources Mentioned(None)Guest Contact InfoFacebook (Page) ► https://www.facebook.com/theconsciouscreatorcoachLinkedIn ► https://www.linkedin.com/in/princemichael/Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/theconsciouscreatorcoach/ YouTube ►https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtREhbXCPUPOkMnBds_tVhwYouTube (Cold Plunge Truth) ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYEnlyA8BFu4NwAIBALvRew

[EP6] How Do You Know When It’s Time To Leave It All Behind & Step Into Your Truth? | Cam MacDougall
Cam Macdougall started his journey in his teenage years feeling broken and labeled by society. This led him to running with the wrong crowd and eventually having what he can only describe as a “divine intervention” moment that shifted the course of his life. It took Cam multiple life lessons to finally listen to his calling and the journey is an incredibly inspiring one that we can all relate to in one way or another. Episode Quotes“I’m a firm believer that the spiritual journey is like layers of the infinite onion, where we’re constantly evolving and shifting and growing” - Cam MacDougall“I was a renegade to society and really did not like rules and conformity…I was always put in this box and labeled as a troubled child..They wanted to constantly medicate me” - Cam MacDougall“Spent 6months of deep dark depression on my floor once I realized I had the girl, the car, the clothes, they money all the stuff that I ever wanted and I was still empty inside” - Cam MacDougall“When I started meditating I didn’t drop in and angels carried me away it was hard…My mind was out of control…Most people that try meditation try it once and give up as they think they’re not good at it. You have to sit through that pain and that suffering” - Cam MacDougallEpisode Resources MentionedNew Earth by Eckhart Tolle Guest Contact InfoInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/liveinbodied/?hl=en (LiveInbodied)Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/cammacdougall/?hl=en (Cam Mac)IGNITEU Podcast - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSmXDd-0mz84h8TeSEFdGmA
