Marilynn Desmond is Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Binghamton University. She (co-authored with Pamela Sheingorn), Myth, Montage and Visuality in Late Medieval Manuscript Culture: Christine de Pizan's Epistre Othea. 2003, and is the author of "Christine de Pizan: gender, authorship and life-writing," in The Cambridge Companion to Medieval French Literature 2008, p. 123-135.
