The Ghostly Guests of the Roads Hotel, Part Two | Guest, Mike Couch
Just north of Indianapolis lies the quaint town of Atlanta; you’ll find the Roads Hotel, steeped in an eerie and remarkable past. Constructed in 1893 by Newton and Clara Roads, the Roads Hotel boasts a captivating history. In its day, it was a very successful business for the family. However, tragedy also struck the family with the loss of their beloved son in the hotel – and the eventual demise of Clara and Newton within its walls.
Following Newton's passing, Clara embarked on a new venture for the hotel. Amidst the backdrop of infamous gangsters and the sorrowful demise of the hotel owner's family, reports of ghostly apparitions abound. There have been many reports of ghostly sightings and tales of conversations between past guests echoing through the rooms. It's no longer a hotel, but those who are brave enough can investigate those who still reside there.
Today, Part One of our conversation about the history, the hauntings, and the ghostly guests at the Roads Hotel with Mike Couch.
