Our Editor's Take

Watch What Crappens is a hilarious podcast devoted entirely to shows on the Bravo network. Today's audiences love pure escapist entertainment more than ever, and Bravo is a prime source of it. The guys behind this podcast don't work for the network. They're fans, plain and simple. Their wild and irreverent takes on Bravo shows has now won fans of their own.

Ben Mandelker and Ronnie Karam are the zany cohosts of this recap podcast. They fuss over the crazy characters and storylines across all Bravo's lineup. What results is a brand of light but impassioned analysis. The show topped popular podcast charts upon its debut and has remained on top for more than a decade. After all these year, people still clamor for sassy recaps of the likes of Vanderpump Rules, Below Deck, and the Real Housewives. Mandelker and Karam deliver, with many episodes a week. Each exhaustively summarizes one recent episode of a Bravo hit.

Mandelker and Karam's goldmine of gossip no longer stops at podcasts, either. When the show reached its tenth anniversary, a new format was in order. WWC hit the road with Watch What Crappens Live to let fans (known as “Crappies”) enjoy the show in person. And true devotees support their favorite junk food TV pundits by joining the pod's thousands of subscribers on Patreon.

So fans of reality TV should feel free to go right ahead. No one is judging. They should give in to the zaniness. Their rightful place amongst their fellow Crappies is within their grasp. Real life? It can wait.
