Dana Copeland is a visionary hairstylist who strives for change in the beauty industry. With an unrivaled passion for her craft, she has relentlessly pushed boundaries, challenging traditional norms and redefined what it means to be a hairstylist in her community.

Dana’s journey began in a small salon, where she honed her skills and quickly realized the limitations of conventional hairdressing techniques and salon culture.
Determined to break free from the constraints, she embarked on a quest for knowledge, immersing herself in the latest trends, innovative technologies, and global hairdressing practices.

Armed with a newfound understanding, Dana’s passion has always been to enhance her clients' natural beauty but also empowered them with newfound confidence and self-expression. Dana learned quickly that education in hair styling was designed for straight, caucasian hair and it was difficult to find education for stylists who wanted to cut ethnically diverse hair types.

Dana’s radical approach to hairstyling caught the attention of industry professionals who were likeminded. Her goal was to create a team with diverse skills who were knowledgeable with all hair types, all ages, all genders so that no person was left unserved at her salon.

Beyond her creative prowess, Dana is a fervent advocate for sustainability and inclusion. She partnered with brands and companies who shares her passion for eco-friendly products, and actively promoted diversity in the industry, ensuring that everyone feels seen, valued, and beautiful.

Dana grew her team of stylists and created a culture where staff had freedom to choose their hours, specialties and pay structure. Allowing freedom to stylists helps to ensure healthy work life balance which has been horrendously lacking in the beauty industry this far.

As an influential trailblazer, Dana has indelibly left her mark on the hairstyling world, inspiring a new generation of hairstylists to challenge conventions, embrace innovation, and create a more inclusive and sustainable future for the industry.
