Ep.402 Sudden Death (1995) vs Welcome to Sudden Death (2020)
In the 1990's Die Hard inspired many clones and ripoffs for every action star under the sun including Jean Claude Van Damme's Sudden Death (1995) which one could call Die Hard at a hockey game. When one looks at JCVD's filmography no one would have thought to remake Sudden Death, but remake it they did with action star Michael Jai White in Welcome to Sudden Death (2020) (or Die Hard at a basketball game). Join IOTR as we go into sudden death overtime and compare both of these Die Hard inspired sports films on this week's episode. Ep.398 Alice in Wonderland (1951 vs. 2010)

Ep.398 Alice in Wonderland (1951 vs. 2010)
Why is a raven like a writing desk? Lewis Caroll never intended the riddle to be answered. Alice in Wonderland is wonderful nonsense brought to the silver screen by Walt Disney in 1951 in a beautifully animated classic that we all still associate with the story. Tim Burton brings his own visual flair in his 2010 version that serves as both a remake and sequel to the original film and novel. Fall down the rabbit hole with us as we have a tea party and talk about Alice in Wonderland! Ep.396 Invasion of the Remake on Strike!
This week Invasion of the Remake breaks down the ongoing WGA & SAG-AFTRA strikes. We examine why they are on strike, what the unions are asking for, and what it might mean for the future of film and television.  Audio clips from Youtube feature Adam Conover, Vin Diesel, Bob Iger, Sean Gunn, and Ron Pearlman. Note: There is a glitch that affects the audio at the 8:00 minute mark that last roughly 3:30 minutes to the 11:30 mark before returning to normal. Everything is audible but the quality for those three and half minutes is poor (by our standards). We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for understanding. The opinions of this episode are those expressed by our hosts and are meant purely for analysis and not meant to be disparaging to any person or corporate entity. We want everyone to get a fair deal in these negotiations.   Support independent podcasts like ours by telling your friends and family how to find us at places like Apple Podcasts, iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, PlayerFM, Tune In Radio, PodChaser, Amazon Music, Audible, Libsyn, iHeartRadio and all the best podcast providers. Ep.394 Remaking God Told Me To (1976, aka Demon)
A cop is drawn into an investigation of what seems to be unrelated, unpremeditated murders, but when each suspect is questioned, they all respond with "God told me to", leading him to a much bigger mystery in Larry Cohen's God Told Me To (1976, aka Demon). This week we explore God Told Me To and it's complex themes of faith and the horrors done in the name of a higher power, all wrapped up in a cop, thriller, sci-fi, horror flick like no other. Join us as we remake God Told Me To!
