The island of Singapore was known to fisherman's and pirates

at least since the 3rd century Anno Domini.

By the 7th century,

when a succession of maritime states arose throughout the Malay Archipelago,

Singapore probably,

was one of the many trading outposts

serving as an entrepôt and supply point for Malay, Thai, Javanese, Chinese, Indian, and Arab traders.

After being expelled from Malaysia, Singapore became independent as the Republic of Singapore on 9 August 1965 statesman Lee Kwan Yew was the first prime minister of Modern we know City-state of Singapore.

There are just four airlines with an Air Operator's Certificate in Singapore.

  • Singapore Airlines (SIA),
  • Jetstar Asia (JSA),
  • Scoot (TGW) … and
  • ST Engineering Aerospace.

Flying in Singapore for any of the city's only three airframe operators is a punishing, difficult, highly rigorous, hot, and unpleasant exercise of your license privileges and professional know-how from whichever seat we occupy in the cockpit.
