Our Editor's Take

The Celebrity Memoir Book Club is a podcast all about the details of different celebrity's books. Focusing on memoirs, hosts and comedians Ashley Hamilton and Claire Parker open up about the latest they've read. Both of them read through popular (or unpopular) celebrity memoirs. Then, they share their evaluations and hilarious insights in each episode.

Every episode of the podcast shares a different memoir. In one, they discuss Brooke Shields' autobiography, There Was a Little Girl. In another, they explore Seth Rogan's memoir, Yearbook. Others discuss books from celebrities like Lily Collins, Alec Baldwin, and Mariah Carey. Mostly, the hosts discuss their favorite and least favorite parts of the book. They also provide witty commentary and jokes throughout. Listeners will enjoy getting an understanding of the lives of famous people.

Hamilton and Parker also provide background information on the celebrities. This gives listeners a better understanding of the context of the memoir. This podcast is unique because it's not just a re-telling of memoirs. It's a blend of humor from two comedic professionals as well as insight into books. Listeners can decide which books they'd like to read (or avoid) based on their reviews.
