Happy Bains interview Lydia Burchell. Anchored by her solid belief that people are the greatest resource on our planet, Lydia Burchell is committed to fostering the self-development, leadership and communication skills of people wanting to make a difference in our world through heart-centred leadership and using their voice.
In fact, since 1993 Lydia has mastered using her own voice by working with leaders in the non-profit organization, Toastmasters. Rising through the ranks of Toastmasters leadership, Lydia has learned how to celebrate each person’s unique leadership style, honing their effective communication and contributing to their personal and professional development through experiential education.
Her interest in leadership development comes as no surprise. Lydia helped well-known Canadian and global clients such as Telus, ICBC, Save-On-Foods, Hotel Vancouver, Tourism Vancouver, Tourism BC and Simon Fraser University find their branding voice and deliver their message in powerful and authentic communication and advertising campaigns.
More recently, Lydia created The World Love Project group. WLP is a passion project to connect heart-centred individuals with a vision to spread more love in the world.
Living as a heart-centred leader is a wonderful way to continue leveraging her voice and her passion for developing the human spirit through leadership training, speaking and education.
