Hoosiers softball season comes to end in NCAA Tournament regionals to Tennessee

A historic season for the Indiana Hoosiers softball season came to an end on the weekend in the NCAA Tournament Regionals. The Tennessee Volunteers knocked off IU in the regional final after a valiant fight in the game.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) recaps an exciting day of action on Sunday for the Hoosiers. The day started with an improbable comeback win against Louisville to reach the regional finals.

While the Volunteers ultimately handed the Hoosiers a decisive loss in the final, IU is well set for the future. The Hoosiers will see the near entirety of it's main contributors to this season's team return next season as this weekend was just the start of something big.

The show wraps by looking at the Indiana baseball team squandering a chance to win the Big Ten title on the weekend. After dropping two of three games against Michigan State, the Hoosiers finish as the No. 2 seed heading into the Big Ten Tournament.
