This is Part 2 of last week's conversation with Lana Elco.
Lana Elco is the world’s leading intimacy artist & the creator of the Intimate Universe brand. Specializing in working with prominent visionary women and couples on their most intimate relationships, Lana guides her clients into the deepest level of intimacy and transforms their intimate relationships into a work of Art.
We continue our discussion about the spaces and relationship styles that sit in between the traditional template of monogamy and the radical relationship style of polyamory. We talk about the idea of shifting in relationships rather than needing to break up. We can negotiate the terms of a relationship and level of commitment. We can want what we want with no shame and create containers to make that happen. Commitment doesn't mean that you ignore your body and your feelings. We get to honour ourselves in relationship.
It's also so important to understand that eroticism doesn't just happen, we need to create intentional erotic space. All of this is part of the Art of Intimacy. Esther Perrel says that we can't have comfort and eroticism at the same time. They don't live in the same space. We need to be aware and nurture our relationships and create spaces to enjoy the fulness of our connections.
