We got incredible First Nations soul singer and songwriter Bumpy to discuss her latest EP, "Morning Sun," which was released in January. We explore the themes and inspirations behind her new solo material, and what it means to her to have her own songs out in the world. Bumpy is also a part of Melbourne neo-soul outfit Squid Nebula, and we discuss how she balances songwriting and collaboration between the two projects. We talk about music production, touring, and the challenges and rewards of being a working musician in the modern era. Additionally, we delve into some of the tracks that Bumpy has been enjoying lately, including selections from Angel Olsen, Emma Donovan, and Adele.
