We get to hear from Jared Bednar and Georgiev after last nights game where Bednar credits goalie for their success. What was Georgie able to tap in to? Peyton Manning came on The Fan yesterday and gave great insight on what the Broncos may do, or rather, QB’s in the draft that he himself has been in contact with regarding Denver.

Is it outrageous to have compassion for another team like the Lakers? The debate rages on until Mike demands an apology from Stink. Stink refuses! The Broncos choose to pick up Pat Surtain II for his fifth-year option, Mike and Mark call it a no brainer. But who will they go with at 12 in the draft? If they even stay at 12…

The NCAA has decided to return Reggie Bush’s Heisman Trophy that was previously stripped from him. A decision ultimately made after “enormous changes in the college football landscape,” per the Heisman Trust. Mike and Mark reflect on the original decision and how much things have changed since then. Speaking of college FB, is it a red flag that one of Deion’s main guys/players at CU has entered the portal? Finally, justice has been served to Lebron James after he proves to Mike and Mark that he doesn’t deserve to be placed in the same vein as MJ.

Wow! We’re reliving that unbelievable 4th quarter from last nights game that inevitably led to Jamal Murrays game winning buzzer beater. What do the guys make of a game where the Lakers truly played excellent up until the end when the Nuggets flipped the switch. The Broncos throw a huge wrench in any perceived draft plans by trading for Jets QB Zach Wilson. Our 9News Broncos Insider, Mike Klis could’ve predicted this one however, and joins the show to help the guys make sense of this move.

The Avs will face the Jets tonight in game 2. Will Georgiev be in between the pipes? Stink says he’s like the “anti-Jamal Murray”. You’ll have to listen to find out what he means by that. On the other hand, the Lakers are absolutely dumb founded after the referees did not choose to assist them to a win last night. Is this a result of enabling? Finally, we hear from listeners who are pretty upset about the Zach Wilson trade.

Did the Nuggets make a comeback win last night or did the Lakers blow the game? There’s a big difference and Mike and Mark debate the answer. Of course, the excuses are flying free after the Lakers loss like the referees or the altitude were to blame, but Charle Barkley comes to the rescue. Amen! Finally, the guys give the update we’ve all been waiting for: how’s Mother Goose doing?

Ain’t nothing new around here- Nikola Jokic’s Serbian mob brother get into a scuffle in the stands and end up knocking a guy in the face! Mike and Stink react before Stink sends Stephen A. the ultimate troll text in the middle of his show. Then, do the guys have any hope for the Avs to make it out of this series?

The Avs lose a tough game 1 against the Jets after a performance from Georgiev that left Mike and mark scratching their heads. Do they have to bench him in the next game? Meanwhile, the Nuggets roll past the Lakers in game one leaving everyone questioning where this “new look” Laker team went? Or are the Nuggets just a better team? Who knows! We do know that Jokic was getting his flowers.

Mike and Stink go over some very telling stats from the Nugs vs. Lakers game one and the assist to turnover ratio and free throw discrepancies are ridiculous. The Nuggets didn’t shoot a single free throw in the second half…imagine if they were getting calls! Are there reasons to feel good after the Avs loss? Jared Bednar doesn’t think there’s anything to freak out about. Finally, Jokic is Gru and MPJ shows incredible mental toughness.

The biggest concern for the Nuggets is the bench according to Mike and our own James Merilatt. Stink doesn’t buy into that concern. James Merilatt joins the show to defend his point. After the Rockies are robbed of a homerun by a fan who interfered with the game, Mike and Mark debate what age you should stop bringing a glove to games.

The Broncos have released all of the images and promo for the new uniforms and Mike and Mark are thoroughly disappointed. Why can’t they just give the fans what we want! Jared Bednar doesn’t think there’s anything to be upset about after game one and thinks they played the Jets well. The guys react before hearing from some of the LA media on what went down Saturday night.

Mike and Stink are getting ready for a big day tomorrow as the Nuggets take on the Lakers in game one of the 1st round! We hear from Jamal Murray who understands that this is a much different team than last years. The Avs will be facing Winnipeg in the 1st round of the NHL Playoffs- what’re the discrepancies between these two teams that the Avs will have to overcome?

The guys give their playoff projections for the Avs and the Nuggets before we get to the Payton and Paton audio from yesterdays pressers. The Nuggets and Lakers had somewhat of a media day yesterday where we heard a lot from Coach Malone on this upcoming series and what it’ll be like for the Nugs to play with a target on their backs. Then, the guys get surprised when our own Denversports.com’s Cecil Lammey showed up to the studio and chats with them about the draft and what we’ll most likely see from the Broncos. Finally, Denver Post Insider Troy Renck joins the show to debate the worst Denver sports contracts of all time and Nuggets vs. Lakers round 1.

Man, Kris Bryant…you really can’t make this stuff up. Is his contract atop the Mount Rushmore of the worst CO sports contracts of all time? Mike was devastated that the Broncos weren’t on Deion Sanders’ list of teams his boys can play for. Well, Deion denies that this lost is even real! Then, Zach Bye comes after Mike on the afternoon drive questioning what mike said about Deion’s portal strategy.
