007: Want To Enjoy Life? Remove This Saying From Your Vocabulary
I’ve got a bone to pick.
And it’s with one of those sayings created that enforces a belief we’ve subscribed to for a while now. And the way it’s used these days creates an icky feeling around some things we don’t need to feel gross about. I used to use the saying all the time, but once I really thought about it - I started to realize how insidious it is.
It’s interesting how a lot of these sayings weaved in to our everyday play a part in shaping our belief system and there are way more than just this one. But today I want to dive into this one that drives me a little bit crazy.
In this episode, we’re going to talk about what this saying is that makes me cringe, along with:
- Why I think it should make you cringe too
- A different perspective to try out
- How changing this can impact your life for the better
