014: Use This Secret To Attract The Things You Want In Life
I made my vision board… why am I still not getting that house? Or the boyfriend? Or the money to pay those bills?I really want these things and I see other people with them, so I know it's possible. But why hasn't it happened for me?These are the questions many of us have asked ourselves (myself included), but what I've come to realize is, it's the wrong question to be asking..In this episode, we’re going to talk about:What's wrong with this approachWhat the right question is andWhether you call it blessings, manifestation, or something else, how we actually get those things in our lives we desireI would love for you to finish this episode with the mindset shift that's required to actually FINALLY attract those things you've had on your vision board or have been secretly thinking about for years. And just a note - This is something that I've been learning over time and my personal experience with shifting my mindset is that it either just clicks or it's something you need to periodically remind yourself of when you catch yourself going back to old patterns of thinking. And the latter has been my personal experience with this. I'm not perfect. I've got big dreams and desires and I do need to keep revisiting this concept. But if you know anything about neuroscience, you know that our brains are incredible and capable of forming new pathways that are primed for shifting into new beliefs, so let's dive in!Click here to listen!Rate, Review, & Follow on Apple Podcasts“I love Sarah and the Deliciously Alive show” please consider rating and reviewing my show! 013: Transform The Areas Of Your Life You Wish Were Different. Here's How.
Have you ever thought about your big dreams, maybe those experiences you think about, but aren’t actually sure if they could be real possibilities for you?  Or maybe you’ve had a burn-it-all-down moment. Where you fantasize about walking away from the life you’re living, either all of it or just a specific part of life that’s not feeling good and you feel like cutting the cord and taking a new direction might be just what you need? I know I have. And every time I’ve been in this space. Where my dreams feel far away or my current reality isn’t stacking up to what I want it to be, I’ve made it a personal practice to explore what’s possible and make a change. It’s been something I’ve consciously done for years, but until recently - didn't really have a name for it. You’ve probably heard it around. If pivot was the word of 2020, I’m predicting this new contender will be the 2023 version. What is it? Reinvention. It’s the phrase that perfectly describes what I’ve gone through a multitude of times and until recently, hadn’t seen the patterns of what I was doing over and over again. In this episode, I’m going to share what I call a success pattern that each of us can follow to bring in the healing, transformation and change we want to see in our lives. We’ll go over:The 4 part success pattern I’ve seen as the path to transformation for myselfThe critical questions to ask yourself when you’re considering a changeHow to make your success inevitable on the journeyMy goal is for you to walk away with clarity on this pattern and the guidance you need to implement it in your own life. It’s the messy work that comes before stepping into that next version of yourself, but worth every minute. The more we course correct and align more and more closely to what lights us up, the better we are at living this wild and precious life and the more we can show up to serve our families, communities and the world. This episode is going to be a bit longer than my typical solo episodes, but I want to challenge you to do whatever you need to do in order to listen to the full thing. Put it on 3x speed or listen over a few smaller chunks. If you action the advice I share with you in this episode, you will change your life. That I 100% promise. Let’s dive in! 009: Into The Unknown
What is the point? Why bother focusing on, quite honestly, uncomfortable personal growth, trying new things or getting out of our norms? When we think about why we do what we do, there are tons of different reasons. Expectations, morals, patterns of people pleasing, comfort and whatever else. But the one I wanted to talk about today is such a powerful driving force. Almost to the point you just can’t help it. And it’s pure magic when used to your advantage. What am I referring to? I’m talking about conviction. And how paying attention to your conviction will help you live an absolutely incredible life.In this episode, we’re going to talk about what’s required to feel that deep conviction about something and to go for it, knees knocking the whole time. We’ll talk:How to identify what your “thing” isHow to start weaving it into your lifeHow to move through the fear of going into the unknownMy goal is for you to walk away with the confidence that you can do the thing you’ve been putting off, that you’re scared to do. But that burns your heart and the thing you know you need to do.This is honestly so key to creating a life that YOU feel is worth living. And when I say YOU, I mean YOU. You’re unique and there’s no one who is doing life exactly how you would at your best. I really do believe that our main job on this planet is literally to figure out what this is for each of us as individuals and move closer to living it every day. 008: Don't Try And Find Your Purpose - Do This Instead
Well hello my friend - I’ve got a fun one today and depending on how you think, it might challenge you! Because why be content to look at something and take your original perspective at face value, right? Which is what I’ve been doing lately. I’ve spent the last 6 or so months really digging in to my beliefs. Taking a look at what they currently are and deciding if I want to keep believing them. Cool, right? Very eye-opening actually. And one of the beliefs that I’ve been rolling around is the whole concept of “finding your purpose”. We hear it all the time. And to be honest, it was something I had romanticized for a long time. That there was something out there and if I searched for long enough, hard enough, that I would figure out my purpose. At this moment in my life, I’m not sure I believe there’s a day we “discover” our purpose. So in this episode, I’m going to share:Why I’m not confident there’s a day where we each find our purposeWhat purpose means to meAnd what belief is currently serving me and might create a shift in perspective for you as wellYou ready?Click here to listen!Rate, Review, & Follow on Apple Podcasts“I love Sarah and the Deliciously Alive show” please consider rating and reviewing my show! 007: Want To Enjoy Life? Remove This Saying From Your Vocabulary
I’ve got a bone to pick. And it’s with one of those sayings created that enforces a belief we’ve subscribed to for a while now. And the way it’s used these days creates an icky feeling around some things we don’t need to feel gross about. I used to use the saying all the time, but once I really thought about it - I started to realize how insidious it is.It’s interesting how a lot of these sayings weaved in to our everyday play a part in shaping our belief system and there are way more than just this one. But today I want to dive into this one that drives me a little bit crazy. In this episode, we’re going to talk about what this saying is that makes me cringe, along with:Why I think it should make you cringe tooA different perspective to try outHow changing this can impact your life for the betterMy goal is for you to walk away with a new belief to try on. One that I hope will serve you by allowing you to show up fully and experience an incredibly delicious life. 006: Want To Get More Done? Try This!
Ok friends, this is a good one. And honestly - completely transformed how I do things and how I actually achieve those big, crazy goals! It’s a little bit of a culmination of a few methods I’ve used over time and has been such a game changer for me.So obviously I knew I had to share it with you! When we talk about living a life of purpose and intention, there’s an element of time management that comes in - because if we’re all talk and no action, we ultimately don’t get what we want. In this episode, we’re going to talk about the way I identify and actually do what I tell myself I want to do, including:Where this concept of time management came from anyway and how we can do it better2 powerful focuses you need to capitalize onHow to replicate this for yourselfSo today I want you to walk away with a new way to actually get results! A new way to look at the to-do list and take the power back over your time and a new experience looking back on each day with the awareness that you’ve spent your time incredibly intentionally and you did what you set out to do. 004: How To Make Decisions You'll Never Regret
I’m so excited to have you here for this episode because, while my entrepreneurial friends are likely going to have exposure to this concept, I think it’s one of those understated things that we don’t really talk about outside entrepreneurship much  that contribute a ton to our life experience, especially when we find ourselves feeling a little “off”.This handy and simple way of becoming more aligned with yourself is something I go back to again & again myself. It’s become a bit of a check in moment that I do pretty frequently and has served me so well that I feel like I need to share. When we talk about living a life of purpose and intention, there’s always a bit of self-exploration that comes with living this way because how can you if you don’t begin to understand who you are at your core and what you believe. In this episode, we’re going to talk about personal core values and what that really means in practice, along with:How to identify what your personal core values areHow to use them to guide your lifePractical ways to “check in” with yourself to make sure you’re on the right trackMy goal is for you to walk away with the awareness of what your values are and how you can always come home to them. This will help you time and time again make decisions, feel true to yourself and skip out on any confusion about how you should be showing up in life. 001: How To Start Living An Incredible Life
The way in which we show up in life in a few key areas is the differentiator of how alive we feel and in turn, how much we enjoy our lives. If you have been drifting along, going through the motions, and you know you want to feel more, to live a more vibrant life, you might be wondering - where do I even start? I’m sure you intuitively know what areas of your life contribute the most to your well-being and your sense of alive-ness. There are the commonly talked about ones like your physical health or what you do for work, but in today’s episode, we’re going to be going through what I’ve experienced as the most important “categories” or areas of life and how you can focus in on the things that will actually move the needle in living it incredibly well. Not forgetting that life has its twists and turns and while I’ve experienced massive growth in all these areas, there are times where some things come more easily and sometimes where it’s more of a challenge. And that’s ok - wherever you are right now is the perfect time to focus in and take steps in the right direction. The challenge is what makes us stronger coming out the other side and it’s something I choose to welcome. I hope you do too.Because after all, a life well lived, one with meaning and fulfillment is what we’re all after, isn’t it? In this episode, we’re going to talk about what those most important areas of life are, plus:Why each one should matter to youWhere to hyperfocus in right nowTangible steps you can take today that will allow you to move forward in the direction of growthSo if you’re ambitious and have a hard time sitting back, know you want something more for your life and focused on your own growth and feeling more alive, I encourage you to go someplace quiet and listen closely to this episode — because it might just change the course of your life for the better.Click here to listen!Rate, Review, & Follow on Apple Podcasts“I love Sarah and the Deliciously Alive show” please consider rating and reviewing my show!
