Dan Cooper –misnamed as D.B. Cooper in the press– would go down in history for the stunt he’d pull off, skyjacking a plane and jumping off of it into the night. America was immediately enamored with the mysterious everyman, but who was he and what exactly happened that fateful, rainy night?
