The Catch Him if You Can podcast series tells the story of the victims of a Canadian con artist. For over 20 years, Marcel André Vautour got away with conning numerous people. He wooed, cajoled, and deceived many into parting with their life savings and worse. This seven-part series shares personal stories of those who fell for his deception.

Emilia King and Maggie Reid are the narrators, researchers, and producers of Catch Him if You Can. They are the cofounders of Pink Moon Studio, which produces the podcast. The idea for the series came after Emilia found an article about a group of women trying to get a con man captured. The public labeled the women everything from gullible to bitter. Emilia felt outraged.

Before releasing the podcast, Emilia and Maggie carried out almost two years of research. They spoke to victims, fraud experts, psychologists, and police officers. The podcast contains segments of ongoing investigations by victims and law enforcement.
